I keep forgetting to ask about the wash. Can you describe what, and how, you did the wash? This is something I need to learn to do.

I always kinda go at it hamfisted: I drench it in satin black and just rub the excess away from the top layers with my thumb or one of those little foam blocks people use to apply makeup (stole it from the girlfriend, works wonders).
