ismaelg Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Hello, Thinking on what to do with some snap models here. What would be a good source for 1/24 - 1/25 present day drag wheel set? Both front and rear. Think 2017 COPO Camaro or something along that line. Something that would fit a new production car without cutting. I'm not very familiar since this is a bit out of my zone. Thanks,
NYLIBUD Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 How about the wheels from the LX Mustang Notchback drag version. Those are pretty cool wheels.
DISKODEE Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Check out tedsmodelingmarketplace.com under wheels and tires... Not sure if you'll find what your looking for but it's a good place to start! Good luck
outkast1027 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Shapeways.com 3d printed ones there are several styles to choose from and very reasonable
NYLIBUD Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I heard that Shapeways has been in existence for several years. And I say to myself, how did I not know about the company. It wasn't till last summer when I came across them by mistake. So I bought a wild 1/24th scale 66 Pro mod Nova, done by a 3D printer.Yes it needed a lot of sanding, and filling...Actually,I just can't believe the quality, and quantity, that Shapeways carries. They have several Pro mod Bodies,/pro stocks,in all different scales. They're definitely my new go to guys.
