Now, thats KOOL! I don't see too many '60s customs these days and you sure did do a great job! Not sure why you think it looks 'crappy' but it looks fantastic to me. :lol:

thanks guys! well i guess i notice the flaws since i am the worst critic and well..i can see them better lol

i am glad to be done with it, it's just a curb side i originally built for the theme in Kansas this last month...just didn't get it done in time.

I think it looks great!

Customs are really easy to overdo, especially a big long box like the Impala... It's lucky the style was changing back then to performance cars, else there woulda been a lot of butt-ugly 'Kustoms' back then!

Have you thought about adding some color in the recess where the upper rear trim was removed? I always wondered how a fine grill (shaded, matching the front grills) in that area would look, might have to build one myself to try it out.

Keep up the good work! Your builds are really interesting and fun!

Really nice old custom... :lol:

These old amt kits are a really good alternativ to the modern kits...really cool....sixties feeling... :lol:

Only one thing missing......panel paint! Well, that and the angel hair, foil covered jack stands and mirror. :blink:
