How do I glue a hod shut on a resin body?

Got a resin body at a flea market and someone had cut the hood out (BADLY) . I want to do a curbside model but am new to resin...What do I have to do? 

Guess I didn't double check my spelling on hood

The Gap , leave it alone . The Panel Line  is important . May I suggest some scraps of plastic  to reinforce the joint unseen and underneath the hood and fenders .. Thanx ..
