Guest Gramps-xrds Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) Here's a simple 40 coupe that's been lowered w/ the stock kit Buick in it. Opened up the wheel wells a little to give it that sporty look. Edited July 3, 2008 by Gramps-xrds

I know the one you're talkin about. The one Tony Nancy was buffing out. That's a tough one to make. It's been sectioned, channeled, chopped, and pancaked. I started one yrs ago but never finished it The chrome is BMF.

CB Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Nice 40 Gramps. Looks cool in the pix, kinda like it's under street lights at nite in the FatBoys parking lot. Got a question - did they do the 1:1 Forties like that back then? openin up the rear fender like that? I like the look, but probly even better ifn them back tires were a little wider, stickin out a bit

I've seen pix of them using conduit and welding it in place then leadin it in. Lead was used before they had bondo
