Great looking Show Room Stock looking build. With the weather holding up your paint work it will give you plenty of time to look at different colors.

First I just want to say thanks for the comments I'm using the 59 cadi uptop there pretty much the best to use they fit almost any body

had to lenthen the rear deck to make a  somewhat perfect fit  all though the arii 58 eldo would be much better its alittle bigger but not easy to find I love convertibles love the way they look with the top up if I owned one id probably never take the top down  LOL!!!!!!

When the weather is bad, I sometimes (rarely) paint a car body in the house. My wife doesn't like it and the lacquer smell is strong, however I am a car modeler. Spring is a LONG four months away for me.

I know what your saying sprayed once in the house wasted more time masking the room than the actual paint job

and then had to strip it again anyway il just wait for the warm weather I'm in no rush still not sure on the color

I knew a guy who had to travel a lot for his job and he always had a couple of kits with him at the motels... he did all of his spray painting in the showers. He would wet the walls first to keep overspray from sticking.... lol

I bet the Hotel Staff loved him.

On the winter paint issue I would suggest a good spray booth with a long exhaust hose to the outside. It's 10 degrees here this morning and I just finished a paint job with no issues. The inside temp. is about 65 to 70 in my basement and I just open the door enough for the hose to go outside and close it as soon as I stop spraying. Some cold air comes in but for the most part it seems more warm air is going out. I managed to finish before the room dropped below 60 and I had already heated the paint before spraying. It's worked for me anyway.

I kinda like the motel idea if I could get in for free id do a quick spray and leave the mess for someone else LOL!!!!!!

not much of a chance for that though still have some eng bay work to do anyway

I really like this build. I'm curious about the color you choose. Locally,  someone has one of these in pale yellow with a white interior.  It looks good but would be better with black upholstery.  Keep us posted on t his excellent model.

The absolute best up top for this application would be the one from the Revell 1965 Chevy Impala Convertible. I used it on my 1965 Olds Dynamic 88 convertible several years ago.
