NOW GET BACK TO WORK! Ed Shaver Roll and pleat interior ? In SoCal we called that TUCK and ROLL - Same thing we did when we crashed our motorcycles Been there: done that : OWCH !!!!
Eshaver Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 O K OK Look in North Carolina, Texas , and even Arizonia where I've worked before, Ive always refered to it as roll and pleat. In fact I've even said it when I used to help an upholster out from time to time. Lets not get bogged down with too many details. It's still a beautiful piece of work, ( THE RANCHERO) . Ed Shaver
notfastenuff Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Ok than it stays now I'm thinking about white interior, white roof, and white bed cover. I think you hit the nail on the head there. Stick some Cragers with fat white walls on it and it's golden! Just my $.02.
VictorSmalls Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I think you hit the nail on the head there. Stick some Cragers with fat white walls on it and it's golden! Just my $.02. I agree. Great color and white walls would look amazing.

Dave Wood Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 nice color choice. Just a quick question. Was it origionaly that short. Love it I shortened it 2 scale feet
larrygre Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Color looks just fine. White tonneau for the bed and white interior with tuck and roll should look like a gazillion bucks.
Harry P. Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) A white bed cover, interior and wide whites would give you a nice retro look, but if you're looking for something a bit more unusual, try a tan or "buckskin" bedcover and interior. Edit: While I'm thinking about it, if you DO go with the white tonneau and interior, you might consider a white roof, as well. Edited July 15, 2008 by harrypri
