Im Still Deciding On Going With The 396 That Came With The Kit Or Im Going With A 327. The Color Is Going Either Aztec Bronze Metallic Or Artesian Turquoise Metallic Which Are Stock Colors For 1966 I'll Keep Ya'll Posted On This Build I Just Got Everything Mocked-Up Right Now Until I Get My Other Projects Finished. horsepower Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Remember that if you go with the 327, to use the hood from the El Camino, it isn't an SS hood.
Car Crazy 81 Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 I Had Decided On The Color Instead Of Going With Turquoise I Painted It Rust-Oleum "Metallic" Gold Rush Metallic. I'll Have Pics Of It Tomorrow.

I'm thinking about using the 6 cyl. from the Trumpeter Nova in mine if I can find an ElCamino flat hood. Keep us posted. Cant wait to see it finished. Ed
