WingNuts Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Well I'm not to pleased with how my cobra dash came out. I attempted to use 1/24 aircraft gauges from Waldron. Some were appropriate, most not. So my question, Is there anyone making 1/18th or 1/16th scale gauges? WingNuts
old-hermit Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Try Here. http://www.largescalemodeler.com/decals/index.html Rick's work is top notch and I highly recommend him.
mikelo Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 You can also try Summit's catalog. They have pics of a lot of their gauges you can save & print to get the scale you need. Once you find the right size, you may want to use glossy photo paper. Mike

Harry P. Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Another way: do a google image search for the gauges you're looking for. Print them out to size and glue in place on your dash. You can just cut out the gauges and glue them with Elmer's glue, or print the images on decal paper and apply them as decals.
WingNuts Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) Back in town thanks for the replys. Tach and speedometer were created with images off the net. those are the ones most unhappy with. Here are a couple of pics where I'm at with the dash. Am I being too picky? WingNuts Edited July 23, 2008 by WingNuts
