phoneguy Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 another one on the bench. This time a Freightliner minus the heavy dump bed. Goodies include winch & tower from AITM, front tires from Sourkraut, rear tires from unknown source (I think they came from Jamie), and rims from the Pete 377 kit. Lowboy is box stock except for the real wood deck which is also available from Sourkraut. (thanks Kurt)
Clay Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 Always a fan of big rigs, and I am loving this one!! Keep us posted.

Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 (edited) What's goin' on... There's only one thing here that I don't care for. The red string on the winch. That's gotta go!!! HA HAAA Seriously, Go check out some picture frame hanging wire where art, pictures get framed, matted and so on. It's made up of several strands of extremly thin wires that look true to scale steel braided cable. Other than that this rig looks good! Edited August 17, 2008 by Semi Trailer Mechanic
phoneguy Posted August 17, 2008 Author Posted August 17, 2008 I know the string doesn't cut it, (it's actually bright orange) but I had to be different.
Old Albion Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Jerry, Very nice indeed!! Colour scheme looks good. We don't often see a Freightliner Conventional. Nice addition to your collection. Best Wishes Dave Bates
