cruz Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Hey guys, I am interested in building the Model King Mercury Cyclone and need some info on how to plumb those vintage engines. Anybody out there w/ some info on this? You know, which hoses go connected from one end to the other, oil pump plumbing, etc. etc.......
Nick F40 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Is it the stock car or drag car? 429? http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop-380x...ss-429-9_aw.jpg hope this even somewhat helps
John E. Bowers Jr. Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Hey Marcos... I have had great success finding reference shots by looking at eBay Motors. Usually there are a couple of examples of the full size cars that you want to research. It has helped me with many builds.
Harry P. Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Try socalcarculture.com. There are photo albums of engines arranged by make. Fantastic resource.
cruz Posted July 25, 2008 Author Posted July 25, 2008 I am building it Nascar style, just like the box art, I need more references on Nascar type engines, not stock engines, sorry for not explaining myself.
Guest zebm1 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Check with the NASCAR Thread Marcos...... check with Luke '57 and his cronies.....
