randfink Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Bodywork is mostly done, got it in primer. I'm still hackin' on the chassis (no laughing, Mr. Stansfield!) and I think I might actually finish this one 'cuz it doesn't hafta be painted! And for those inquiring minds who wanna know, the wheelcovers come from the Revell Ed Roth '56 Ford pickup.
Daniel Peterson Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Lookin' slick so far. Nice touch with the fuel filler and exhaust. What do you think about a taper cut on the exhaust tips that matches the slope of the deck lid? I like it as is, but the voices in my head were discussing it and I overheard them. Keep goin', man!
bjscustommodels Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 looks great so far. I have no clue what to do with my 36
randfink Posted August 22, 2006 Author Posted August 22, 2006 Hey Daniel, warped minds must think alike, 'cuz I was thinking the very same thing about the exhaust tips. These were just some quickie mockup photos I shot with some tubing jammed in for looks.
Wildrice Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Looking good. That looks like its right off the magazine pages.
George Christy Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Great Project Randy , Now that I see you and Craig posting here I dont have to make any trips to the club meetings
Mr. Metallic Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Looks great Randy! It's really coming along. Now, if you could just get that frame finished... (snicker, snicker) Seriously, killer project BTW, if the market across the street has Rod and Kulture mag do you want a copy?
