Im putting the '55 Bel Air away while I slowly gather up the parts, so I got this out. The kit is a bit rough and lacks detail so I'll try my hand at a little weathering.

I'll be white with the BMW Motorsport colours, for the interior Im thinking dark grey or medium tan.

Im going to make it a Alpina styled E21, might go with some XS Tuning Street S17 in chrome.

Got the body and hood painted, Tamiya Light Gunmetal. I'll try polishing before I clear it.

Michael, that engine turned out great!!!

what did you use for the intake/exhaust, metallizers???

Forgot to mention that the chassis pan and suspension is done, just need to find a good dark tan for the interior.

Pretty much the whole engine is done in rattlecan metalizers. I haven't done to well with airbrushing it, then again I haven't tried with my new airbrush.

Block - Gunmetal w/ Dullcote

Exhuast - Aluminium Plate w/ Dullcote

Intake - Magnesium

Turbo - Titanium w/ Stainless Steel runners

A long time since I updated this build. Got a new interior bucket and hopefully the final time I change the wheels.

While Im waiting for some .5mm 1/2rd styrene from the hobby shop, I'll see if I can finish this.

Im using the seats from the '41 Willys street rod and looking for a new color for the interior, any ideas would be helpful.

I would suggest useing Model Master's from Testors, Light Ivory. It is the color I'm useing on my Koenig Specials Testarossa and I bet it'll look great on the inside of your BMW! Or, two-tone gray it like I did my Mazda RX7. I'd go for the Ivory, gives it that nice ritch leather look of luxury cars!
