Slim Louis Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Opened up the hood and trunk of a Revell wheels of fire snap kit, and placed it on a well detailed AMT 70 Monte Carlo chassis. Rules state that a street stock must be OEM factory stock except for the cage, fuel cell, seat and other safety features. Had a lot of fun making this "bomber", hope you like!
lizardlust Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Nicely built and a neat subject, Louis - I take it this represents one at the BEGINNING of the racing season??
62SS Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Nicely built and a neat subject, Louis - I take it this represents one at the BEGINNING of the racing season?? I would say before the first hot laps, Its not even muddy yet. Ours never looked this good after it had been ran. Ive seen a lot of these meet their demise at the local dirt tracks over the years. Nice build Slim, great looking model. Ed
Slim Louis Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 The art of weathering is still eluding me, it is on my list of priorities! Lizard, I believe we've had this discussion before. Your input is my inspiration!
