Here is my model of one of Seattle's two 1969 Kenworth tractor drawn ariel ladder trucks. I'm working on a narrow nose for it so it will be more prototypical. the trailer, rear truck body, and ladder turntable are scratch built. I made the decals. The 100' ladder is about 4 feet long when extended all the way out.

Thanks guys:

it was really fun to build. Eventually I'll add one of Seattle's Kenworth conventional pumper trucks to go with it. It took about three weeks to build if I remember right.

Cheers:

Bill,

Very Impressive looking rig. Your scratch building skills are excellent. Come to think of it all the Fire Apparatus builders on this board have superb scratch building skills. I will definately look forward to your build of the pumper truck. Just out of interest what engine did you put in it?

Best Wishes
