Greg Myers Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 So many post could be more clarified if a picture was included. I.E. the recent post on the Daytona transporter http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/134948-mpc-daytona-show-transporter/ or the one on the '40 Ford coupe.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/134929-40-ford-coupe/ A picture can be worth a 1000 words
Greg Myers Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 An added benefit, while searching for that picture on line you just might answer your own question. Looks like that OHC 6 just might be a Pontiac
Eshaver Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 The MPC Transporter has always been a very curious piece , well to me at least . I remember the Pontiac OHC well and as for it's Base line configuration , well , it was so -so in traffic . One HAD to buy the upscale Sprint option to get any REAL performance out of it . I remember a member here taking the Oldsmobile 455 Toronado powerplant and really doing a "NUMBER" on the body . I saw where the model hit the floor and thus , we will never see how this piece came out . Meanwhile , with some SLIGHT modifications , this FANTASY piece could really result in a Show stopping display too !!!!!
