The new (September 2018) issue of Musclecar Review has a feature story on the very '70 Challenger TA that Monogram measured and used for reference, and even has a little sidebar story about that.

Excellent reference pics, too. This is of particular interest to me because both a Welly diecast and a glue bomb "rescue" Monogram '70 TA are very, very near the top of my To Do list. B)

I just read that article ! Nice that the very car used for measurements is still around ( though I wish that its curator / owner / operator would re-add the "V1W" white vinyl roof back to its rightful spot ! ) .

I don't know how many of those kits I've built over the past 35-ish years (  the original with the Turtle Wax pouch ; the second iteration thereof ; and finally , the c.1986 issue (moulded in non-metallic light red) , the 2-in-1 version with the tunnel ram and Cragar S/ST wheels) .

I ran out of Monogram's "Big-n-Little" tyres (think : 1970 Chevelle SS-454 3-in-1 from c.1985) building so many of them !

That's a great article and a beautiful car. I'd have to side with the owner regarding that vinyl roof... yeccchhh   :P

The team, tapes, camera and carving, did an excellent job of transposing the proportions to scale.
