This isn't anything near Dave Thibideau's Daytona, but I like it. This is Scale Coachworks' FIA Cobra done in the markings of Dan Gurney's '64 Mille Miglia entry. It's pure curbside, but it's nicely done. Uses wheels and other little parts from the Revell-Monogram 427. Decals are beautifully done.

great job.is the windshield frame the revell part or did that come with the kit.what other parts came with the kit? could one use the chassis from revell for a full detail kit?

Excellent FIA Cobra Terry!

Remember the kit manufacturer "Sunny" in the '80's? I think they did a "427" Cobra although it looks a lot like more of a FIA car that you did.

I've got this kit somewhere in my stash, but haven't looked at it in years. The tooling IIRC looks suspiciously a lot like the old AMT kit-------just modified a tad. :D

That's an understatement! I had the kit, and probably sold it to Tom Gunshannon or someone else in the York club, and the main reason was that I already had a half dozen AMTs and the different brand and box didn't impress me me.
