texasfunk Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 ok..so she finished her monte. and remember. this is her first build ever! i just overlooked..gave he pointers as she went along. and she did a great job. she painted glued fit everything herself. she even foiled it. she even borrowed some aluminum tube from my bench and made her a hard radiator hose. lol. only bad part was the stripes on the back cracked. bt the yest makes up for it. enjoy.

Real nice clean build, buy her somemore! thanx! she did a great job! i was very impressed. especially first time using rattle cans and masking tape. she just picked up some of my spray cans we had in the garage..and she really like the red and black combo. and yes..we went to hastings..and i had no idea they had models! i just saw them there..and they were on sale for 5 bux. i suggested she build it..and she liked the idea. i let her have the blower from my chevelle and ims off the new camaro because she didnt like a plain motor or the rims it had. and it came out well. she really wants to continue. next shes building a 72 elcamino. chebbysteve Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Well, she did real good. The car looks great, especially considering it's her first model. And it's always a good thing when your friends understand your model hobby.
