Over the years I bought a LOT of diecasts.   And mostly, they would go in whatever area I also painted in, which means a fine film of dust and overspray particulate.  I mentioned in the cleaning post that you could clean up a box with nail polish remover.   Here is a prime example.  This was dang nasty.   Blue shop paper towel and cheap nail polish remover from Ollies.  

You could follow this with some window cleaner.  And sometimes I start with greased lightning or mean green.  Now if I could just sell it.... on ebay now.
