ajulia Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Hello all! As my good friend George has mentioned my lady and I got married on the 30th and have been held hostage till a couple days ago. and well this is what happens when you spend to much time away from the bench. Its simple but the kit was missing alot of pieces (as always).. So going into the engine bay was slim next to none. Hopefully have her done tonite or tomorrow. The color is airbrush applied Testors Pontiac Engine metallic blue. Thanks fer stoppin and keep on wit the keepin on! peace ajulia

Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 (edited) I'm watching this one too as I'm doing a quickie restomod of an AMT 1970 annual with the molded in vinyl top. Send me a PM as I might have some parts you can use on yours. These vintage metal axle kits can be built into works of art. Too many of you guys are quick to write them off due to their lack of details as compared to their modern brotheren. Look in you vault of unbuilt kits and pull one of these old gems out and have FUN!!! Edited August 17, 2008 by Marc @ MPC Motorsports
