jeffb Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 finally got all the parts done to make this a 71-72 base model.
gojogo Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Hi there, new to the forum and I saw the "standard" grill on your 71-72 project where did you get it (if you don't mind saying. Thanks. PS. what else can you get for these cars out there in resin? Really looking for the "standard" hubcaps and hood as well as a standard interior.
jeffb Posted August 18, 2008 Author Posted August 18, 2008 hi gojo. i cast these parts. the kit comes with the flat hood. i also cast the piepan wheels. i havent done anything for the interior.
Jairus Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 (edited) All the Mustangs from 1965 and up listed every part as optional. By 1972 you could easily purchase a base stock coupe with Mach 1 stripes, grille and deluxe interior if the buyer wanted to pay for them. However, I have to warn you... that that base frontend utilized a CHROME bumper with a chrome surround in 1971 - '72! Edited August 28, 2008 by Jairus
