Carbon fiber decals

Recommended Posts

I don't generally find working with "typical" decals to be much of a challenge, but these carbon fiber decals? Well, that's a whole different story! I'm starting a project soon that's calling for this on basically every component of the car- from chassis and engine to the driver compartment....and everywhere in between!

So, what I could use and definitely appreciate are tips and general guidelines to follow so I don't end up with the same (nightmarish) issues I've experienced in the past ?

Anyone?....anyone??

Thanks in advance!

Start here and see if it helps get you going.  The big thing in CF decals is setting at the right angle and matching the join lines of the 1:1.  Sometimes template sets are offered.  I know that I will apply a coat of Micro Scale decal film as these decals are very thin and can break easily.
