carmad1957
I don't generally find working with "typical" decals to be much of a challenge, but these carbon fiber decals? Well, that's a whole different story! I'm starting a project soon that's calling for this on basically every component of the car- from chassis and engine to the driver compartment....and everywhere in between! So, what I could use and definitely appreciate are tips and general guidelines to follow so I don't end up with the same (nightmarish) issues I've experienced in the past ? Anyone?....anyone?? Thanks in advance! Edited November 23, 2018 by carmad1957 Please delete....posted twice accidentally!
Exotics_Builder
Start here and see if it helps get you going. The big thing in CF decals is setting at the right angle and matching the join lines of the 1:1. Sometimes template sets are offered. I know that I will apply a coat of Micro Scale decal film as these decals are very thin and can break easily. https://www.scalemotorsport.com/tutorials-sect.html
