Runnin’ at Redline

I’ve been getting many emails of concern regarding my column and my well being. Usually the Summer is a very slow period, so I don’t send anything out. You are either partying, posing in your Speedo or, like me ....mowing! 

Late in August I wanted to get started and my iMac got an update... well.... that kinda’ threw it into a tizz! It just turned 8 and I was on my last iOS (operating system). I could not get email, backups could not happen and if I tried, it could take all night to download something. It was time from a new unit! Life gets in the way and today was the first shot I had at getting a new machine... after spending time at the Apple store, I found out that I have to order it online! Will say that the guy was impressed with what I wanted. 

Thank you all for your concern. I’m doing well. Once my new unit arrives and I get it back in the game, I’ll send out an update. I was quite busy and have a few new things in the shop going. Mainly, an albatross of a project, left last week that ended it’s 5 year saga! 

The big answer some are lusting for is that, YES!, I am continuing the column and you should see something soon. 

I appreciate your patience! This truly is a hardware problem on my end. 

As computers go, my iMac owes me nothing. I’ve owned Dells in the past and I honestly would have been on my third one by now! Really!!! 

So...hang in there! Articles and builds are coming!
