Tommy Ivo "Barnstormer".

Recommended Posts

The Ivo rail in the AMT kit was Ivo's last front engined car from about 1970. The Barnstormer was about 1964. The engines are both hemis but the Barnstormer is a 392 such as found in the Revell Willys gasser and the AMT kit is a late hemi or 426. Rodders Jourrnal had a great article on either a restoration or recreation. Fremont Racing Specialties carries the decals. Joe Curtis or Fremont used to make the body. If I wasn't scratching the chassis, I'd use either the Tony Nancy double kit (requiring a new body) or the early Garlits rain.
