Taxdude Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) Since F-1 are popping up all over i thought that I would share an older build of my F-1. The grill is made from Aluminum tubing. I made a buck in order to get all of the bars to bend the same amount. The Body has been cleaned up and the hood to cowl issue has been addressed. The chassis was sub-framed in order to get the front end down. In the bed I had to make small wheel tubs in order to get the tires to fit. I also use very thin maple planking for the bed. And the interior before it was buttoned up. The seat is a cut down unit from some pick-up kit, can't remember which one. The dash was smoothed and new gauges were installed. The engine is a GM crate motor cleaned up and installed Some in progress shot can be seen here. http://public.fotki.com/Wojodamus/50_ford_...0_ford_pick-up/ Fred Edited August 30, 2008 by Taxdude

Darrell Gwinn Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 The word that comes to mind when i see this is "smooth"... very nice, the color choices are excellent
gary westervelt Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Dang that's a nice build.Be nice to cruise the streets in that one.
James Flowers Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Nice looking truck you have . Now days there is no excuse to use a chevy motor in a Ford. I just get sick of seeing this all the time. I will never understand why people still do it. Must be because chevy makes a truck that is lousy an worthless.
