Daniel Lynch Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Very nice Custom Chevy! Good job my friend! Daniel
lizardlust Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 If my first attempt at BMF was on THAT styrene dinosaur, I'd still be trying to dislodge it from the drywall!!! Sharp looking old Cheyenne, Gary!!!
gary westervelt Posted August 31, 2008 Author Posted August 31, 2008 Believe me Kurt. The temptation was there.
Harry P. Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 First time wiring and foiling? I'd say you did just fine. It looks great. One tip: go back and detail paint those wipers. They shouldn't be body color..
Willy Survive Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Looks great Gary. Especially for it being the first time you used BMF and tried engine wiring. Very nice job. -Will
62SS Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Nice looking truck Gary. Good job on the foil and the wiring. Keep up the good work. Oh, welcome to the board, Hope you enjoy your time here. Ed
RadRidesByDan Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Excellent job on the truck...the paint, BMF and engine detail is super....I hope I can be honest about one thing.....the only thing that im not too keen on is the size of the wheels....a bit smaller wheels dia may have been better but again this is only my opinion. Congrats on a build well done ......2 Thumbs up
gary westervelt Posted August 31, 2008 Author Posted August 31, 2008 Thanks for the kudos and welcomes guys. Harry, thought about the wipers after it was done.May go back and re touch them.Would make a world of differance wouldn't it? Dan,thought about those wheels the whole time I was building.Figured what the heck and used them anyhow. This build was more of a testing bed for some things I hadn't done.Didn't wanna waste a set of aftermarket wheels on it.
