Slim Louis
I bought six of these pre-painted well detailed, but a little chubby, snap kits at Hobby Lobby when they were out for a minute a few years ago, and I was thinking of what I could do with them. Always liked those sixties Ray Nichels Dodges and Plys and can't afford the price of those scarce JoHann 64 kits! This one, I used the factory body paint, scraped off the windshield wipers, painted the chassis and interior, removed the back seat, fabbed a racing seat and roll cage, and apllied my own decals! Racing wheels and tires from Norm, have another one started that I stripped the paint, removed the chrome trim, and proceeded in this fashion, I will give you the link, for! Been awhile since I bothered ya'll with more racecar, ######, hope you enjoy! links: http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/polar-li...eonard-phantom/ http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/polar-li...65-dodge-no-28/ Edited August 31, 2008 by Slim Louis
