sdrodder Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 nice build. One question though would u have better pics of the trailer hitch as i need to make on too for my 41 truck. Nice clean build. Did you have any problems with the front of the frame being warped? Nice work
gary westervelt Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Nice build Ed.Did you have any problems with the build?Reason I ask is cause I plan on doing a longbed stepside in the near future. It'll be a replica of my 1:1 truck.
62SS Posted August 31, 2008 Author Posted August 31, 2008 (edited) nice build. One question though would u have better pics of the trailer hitch as i need to make on too for my 41 truck. Nice clean build. Did you have any problems with the front of the frame being warped? Nice work I found the hitch in my parts box, It just hangs on the bumper so its not really accurate. A better drop hitch can be found in the AMT 76 Caprice. Hope this helps. I dont remember the frame being warped so if it was it must not have been too bad. Ed Edited August 31, 2008 by 62SS

The only problem I had was the hood. It comes in 2 pieces and the lower section was slightly warped. I just glued it and clamped it a little at a time. Not really a major problem, It just took a little extra time and effort. Hope this helps, Ed
