Kunal Verma Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Hello everyone, Haven't been on this forum for over a year and last posted re. the Rajkot Rolls Royce. After that car, I decided to make another PII - the Henley Roadster. Working on and off, this car took me nearly 11 months to complete. Here are the results which I hope you will enjoy! You can see more at http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z19/kve...nley/?start=all And the WIP pictures at http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z19/kve...ley%20Roadster/

ismaelg Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Beautiful! These classics are certainly the definition of ELEGANCE! Nice job! Thanks,
RodneyBad Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Excellent job on the Rolls. Nice job on the chassis Does that have 2 mufflers?
FactoryStock54 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Beautiful in every detail! Outstanding! Did you use flocking for the upholstery?
Kunal Verma Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 Thanks for your comments everyone - greatly appreciated and I am so glad everyone enjoyed the model! Zukiholic - The car has one muffler but I believe the smaller one is for some sort of crankcase ventilation system. Factorystock54 - The upholstrey was done in Tamiya Flat Earth. The carpets were made from a felt type material I found inside some old handbags. I had bought them for the leather but found the lining to be very useful!
robertw Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 These classic cars are fun to build and I'm glad to see another one come out of "stash". Maybe Revell will decide to reissue the whole Monogram series. There is a number of them that I never got but would like to try building now. Well done. RobW
