Eeyore Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I thought I'd upload a few Falcon Hardtop pictures from my own HD. I'm sure I have more lurking around on other computers and of course I can easily chase up any specific pictures you require. Enjoy!
Eeyore Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 Hrmmm why can't I attach more photos in my next post.

Eeyore Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Here is a collection of shots of a mint 73' XA Falcon Superbird
Eeyore Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 This XB Hardtop belongs to actor Eric Bana. It's been built to compete in tarmac rallies here in Aus. He's actually owned the car for well over 10 years, before he was a big Hollywood star
Eeyore Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 These green and white XB's are John Goss Special models. I might have more detailed pics if anyone needs them.
Corvette.Jeff Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 were those 5 lug wantanabes on that road racing falcon?!?!?!?!?!
VW Dave Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Very nice pics indeed; an XB-GT is high on my post-lottery 'wish list' for sure. My friend Mark has 2 XB's here in NY, which makes it very tempting to sell off all my other car stuff and buy an Aussie muscle car. Here's Mark's stock '73 GT, which had a full feature in The Oz 'Street Machine' magazine when he got it: And here's his MM replica, which was the first in the world with a functional blower and Scott FI setup:

rv1963 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Wow those are some great pics of the Falcon i have been wanting to do a factory stock build of one of these cars, what year was the Mad Max car i may try an convert that over to a stock or street machine Falcon.
VW Dave Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 what year was the Mad Max car i may try an convert that over to a stock or street machine Falcon. The actual movie car started life as a '73 XA-GT.
Jantrix Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'm not a big Ford guy, Mustangs, Torinos, Mavs , Fairlanes they're nice but they don't trip my trigger. Those Aussie Falcons? That's a different story. In my opinion they are the coolest muscle car to roll out of an FoMoCo factory anywhere in the word at any time. Hands down.
Eeyore Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 I haven't logged on in a while but it's good to see people are still enjoying these photos. I'm sure I've got some more so I'll be sure to post them up over the next few days.
moparmagiclives Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I wonder how hard it would be to convert my 64 to right hand drive???? Very interesting
Eeyore Posted March 11, 2009 Author Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) Eric Bana still has his red XB Hardtop but is currently too busy with acting commitments to sought out a repair plan. Hopefully the car is salvagable although it did take quite a big hit. I'm not sure when it comes out in the US (if at all) but his new movie about the car itself called Love The Beast comes out here next week. Edited March 11, 2009 by Eeyore
