megahobby back order

I  preordered 3 1965 ford f100 service truck kits back on 2/16/19. I see that they are out. model roundup has them in stock. but megahobby web site shows them as still a preorder, so whats up. has any one else ordered these at megahobby on preorder and not got them yet.

I pre-ordered 2 of them around the same time. I emailed them the other day and got a response from their sales department that they should be shipping early July. Not sure why some places have them before others, but it ain't like I was needing them to build something this week!

I ordered 2 of those F-100 Service Trucks from Model Car Mountain on eBay.  After a few days, the seller e-mailed me and said the kits were stuck in a warehouse, and there was a delay in shipping them to him.  He offered to cancel the order and refund my money immediately, or I could wait for the shipment to get unstuck.

Told him I would wait.  It only took a couple of more days.  The kits arrived last Friday.  I was very pleased with the seller's honesty and quick response to the problem. 

I don't usually buy the "HOT NEW KIT!!!" right away, but I make an exception for those Model King/Moebius special issues.  They seem to only be available for a short time, then you have to deal with re-sellers marking them up for an even higher price.  For the curious, the MCM price on the Service Truck was $29.88.

Just got an email from MegaHobby that my pre-order of 2 kits is shipping today, so with any luck I will have them by Saturday.

Checked the MegaHobby website today and they show these available for shipping. They did bump the price up a dollar from when I pre-ordered them in February.
