ismaelg Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Hello, Well, not exactly a promo in it's pure definition, but it was adopted. It's kinda cool despite been a diecast (1/24). The headlights are pretty bad. As a model it is rough, but as a cool pace car "promo" it's OK. I did a black wash on the main panel lines and polished it. I also had to put it down as soon as I got this stupid urge to take it apart and improve on it. Thanks,
lordairgtar Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Very nice, but the headlights look like little silver BBs. Any way of improving that aspect of it?

With the fear of making it another detailing project, I plan to take it apart and see what can be done there. But that will have to wait after the Oct show. Thanks,
Roadkill2525 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Did they look at a TVR for headlight references?
RodneyBad Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Very Cool Die cast. Better be carefull, you could end up with more diecast than plastic.
crispy Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Is that a Greenlight Collectible Ismael? They have some good stuff, but that is the one pet-peeve I have with their new Corvettes, the headlights. Chris
ismaelg Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 Yes Chris, That's a Greenlight. A bit toylike but not bad for $7 Let's just say it was not "properly described" on Ebay.
