I realize I’m late to this post but I thought I would post this for anyone else modeling this car. 

I also thought that this car had a vinyl top but photos show that it was definitely painted as there are no seams.

In an article by Hagerty, Mike Landy states that the car was originally silver with a black top and that he repainted the car blue with a white painted top.
