towman1271 Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Does anyone know of a source for 1/24 scale Super Single wheels and tires. Just need steer ones. Thanks
Force Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Moebius has two sets with super singles, one set with two steer wheels and four rear wheels, and one set with four trailer wheels: Otherwise Jamie at Moluminum, KJ at Double Take Replicas, Auslowe and KFS also has wide floatation steer wheels in resin, check them out if you want to get only two wheels for the front axle.

How much difference would there be between 1/24 to 1/25
steve1970 Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Mo'Luminum truck parts also has some - http://moluminum-com.3dcartstores.com/Rubber-Tires_c_1.html

Will the difference be noticable
dannyi Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 There is a slight difference. For example, the super single and the front float are both 1.70" in diameter. That is 42.5" in 1/25 scale. That same tire in 1/24 is 40.8". Another way to look at it is a 42.5" tire in 1/25 is 1.70" and a 42.5" tire in 1/24 is 1.76". It depends on the application how noticeable the difference would be.
