1970 L-1000 Dodge cabover

Here are some pictures of my scratch built Dodge L-1000 in progress. The chassis will be from a GMC Astro. It will eventually be completed in North American Van Lines colors.

Incredible your Ford cabover blew me away. But This is over the top, To bad that truck kit was never released in the 70's.

From looking over your photo site I've come to some conclusions

1. Your an old Model designer from AMT and wandered off with plans.

2. Your a kind of a missing link of truck modelers.

3. Something is in your water supply and I want some.

Please please think about getting this cast.

Very nice. I'm becomming sort of fond of these older trucks. Yes, please do think about getting it cast. This one, the Ford, and a GMC Crackerbox. I'd be a happy camper!

I'm planning on doing a GMC Crackerbox and Ford W-1000 cabover in the future. Unfortunately, this cab is too far along in construction for casting. I think someone would have to build one in pieces and then cast it.

As mention IMC was already promoting the 1970 L1000 tractor kit in their 1970 0r 1971 catalog.....never came.
