Question about interior for a NASCAR die cast

I was given this NASCAR die cast bank. It is a 1/24 scale - 1999 Monte Carlo by Action. By any chance could a interior and front and rear and side windows from a plastic model kit be adapted to to this die cast????? The hood and trunk open right now so that is a good start.

Any ideas what a good model to use would be a good place to start with????????

Not done it myself....but DC have little in common with kits so it'd be tough I bet. Put it on a shelf and enjoy.
