while I’m wandering around Pennsylvania I made my annual trip trek to the simeone museum in philly

and I happened upon the 1963 lemans winner ......

just to enjoy the contrast .....

I really liked seeing the pic of Bob Clidinst... Do you have any idea what became of his long tern 1/8 scale Offy project?  He brought it to our club meeting (CCMC) one night and it was absolutely amazing... I sure miss that guy..

did you ever see his 24 scale Maserati 8CTF body ??  
he probably never finished it  -  the lines detail and shape were  excellent .....
