:) Hello friends :) :

I hope everyone is ok and healthy as well as in good spirits.

It has been a while since my last post, sorry for that, but I have never forgotten any of you.

This is a few shots of the Dale Earnhardt 98' car, it is not the DAYTONA win car, it is his regular car for that year.

Erick!

Nice to see you here! I love your work. You and David have inspired me to build my first NASCAR. I'll soon start with Dale's '98 Daytona winner.

Thanks,

Hello:

It is a MONOGRAM 1/24 scale model.

My apologies. I meant no offense. But you showed us a dozen pics, with no underhood or chassis shots. Other seem to know you by reputation. Until now I did not. So you might understand why I assumed it was a diecast. Glad to have you here on the forum.

Hello :

No offense was taken my friend ... none. Of the pictures you mention, I do understand your point, for those shots, I preffer a more ZOOM quality and more pixels too. I am on the verge of getting a new digital camera, a MINOLTA, OLYMPUS or a NIKKON for this. I will post eventually. But yes, it is a model. If you observe more carefully you will notice that the inside windshield and rear window raillings are made with CARDSTOCK paper coated with EPOXY CERAMIC ENAMEL to make more hard and the holes are done by inserting a sewing needle, all spaced and done to scale, trust me, the model is detailed inside and out, I even added the helmet which is hung inside the top. The wheels have two air valve each. The rear window splitter vane is made to scale. The list goes on my friend.

Thanks for watching. Trust me ... no offense was taken.

But I go to the forum everyday ( PR ). E-mail me if you like, I also have a YAHOO! Messenger.
