In need of Autocar reference photos

Recommended Posts

I'm in need of some old Autocar reference photos if anyone has them for an 40s model old cab DC 75 or DC 100. I mostly need interior and drive train reference pictures. Maybe some inside shots or under hood shots, or may be underneath. I know this is a long shot but I thought that maybe someone like myself takes tons of reference pictures at truck shows and maybe caught one of these. I may just have to use creative license if I can't get any pictures.

Thanks,

Brian

Thanks Hermann! Those are all of the newer cab that believe began in 49. Do you know if the chassis were basically the same on the 48 and back trucks? Those restoration pictures will be a huge help if they are. I will definitely use those as reference.

Hi Brian,

It depends if you want the pre-war Autocar or the Autocar after 1945.

The factory stopped end of 1940 and after 1945 they came with newer models and, as far as i know, different chassis.

Anyway, I have a great link for you with a lot of info and pictures of the pre-war Autocar.

Just klick the model you looking for.
