AMT Pro Shop 1957 Chevy

I'm on the last stages of putting together AMT's Pro Shop '57 Chevy, but I can't get the front nose to come down all the way.  I've tried everything.  I don't see where it is binding, and everything looks "right" except the nose.  Any suggestions?

I have often had issues with the windshield, dashboard interface on that kit, causing that issue.  I trimmed the bottom of the windshield on one of them
