Mike Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I was in a slump and the mrs. picked this one out for me to build. Nice little kit. I didn't know how I was going to paint it until I started researching the car. This is a build of an actual car that inspired me to replicate it. I made the decals on my computer using Microsoft Word (I don't have a graphics program), I also added photoetch parts from Protech and used Shabo transfers for the side-walls. I used Alclad II for the wheels, side pipes, and steering wheel to rework the chrome and clean up seams and am extremely pleased with the first time effort. Lastly, I used a new technique to simulate the "wood" steering wheel. Thanks for looking.
RadRidesByDan Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Bro, I saw this build on your website and man is it ever off the hooks. It is one of the nicest replicas that I have ever seen you build. Paint, decalwork, detail and interior is supreme 2 Thumbs Up for you Mike Bear
