Moon Pie Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) I'd been wanting an original Mono '30 Ford Woody for a long time, but they are going too high on eBay, so I decided to use an "Early Iron Series" and retro it back to the orginial form. Wheels and tires are from Modelhaus. I sure would like to see Monogram re-release some of the oldies in their orginial form! Edited November 2, 2008 by Moon Pie
RadRidesByDan Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Nice reproduction......if you hadnt mentioned about taking the early Iron kit to build yours....I personally dont think to many people would have know that it wasnt the real deal kit. Amazing work
Raul_Perez Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Now that's about as "box art" perfect as they come!! Great job!!
E St. Kruiser50 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Phil , you NAILED this build! WTG! DITTO BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Dennis Lacy Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 This is simply awesome. Love the shade of red and wood tones you used. I was never aware that this early version existed until I saw this thread. I check Ebay almost every week and have never seen one, just lots of the "Early Iron" version and the recent re-issue.
stevegt738 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 This is so cool, really nice job of back dating. Well done.
