I have one of these (for about two years now) and I'm very happy with it. It's variable speed running from 5 grand to 25 grand.

Runs on a Lithium-Ion battery. Decided to see how long a charge would last and I haven't had it on the charging dock since early in the summer. No sign of loss of power yet but I rarely used it at any of the higher speeds.

Read a posting on another board that someone had had the battery go bad but mine has been great. It handles easilly and fits my hand. I've put my old conventional dremel away and it may never come out again.
