loggeron30 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Hi, My name is Ken and I am new to the forum but not new to model building (years of model railroad building, kit bashing, etc) but new to doing this. OK, there be the intro. My father had a Brockway F361TL. I wanted to build one the way his was. He primarily used it as a freight hauler. That being said, I found a resin cab conversion kit. Any suggestions for a donor chassis? It had an inline 6cylinder Cummings. Thanks for the help.
BubbaBrown Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I am No expert but I owned a Brockway about 40 yrs ago. It was close to a Mack but had positive ground with a Gm engine.
gotnitro? Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 I've used a dm 600 mack , r model , paystar 5000 frame for my Brockways. Depending on how heavy I want to make it appear. The mixer was a dm 800 frame My 361 dump truck w paystar frame Cat wait to see it started , I live just over the hill from the old plant , so I really like these trucks
