Geezerman Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 (edited) Fellow modeler in TRaK that goes by the name 'Outlaw', builds hot rods for a living. He has a beautiful model A that was in the stages of being completed. He mayhave painted it by now, but it was a beautiful 'beater rod'. I told him I wanted to base a model on it and all thru the building process as I posted WIPs, I kept the engine hid, prompting all kinds of guessing. Outlaw has a Chev engine in his 1:1. They all were taken aback when I unveild ny model sporting a Nisson 2000 powerplant. Outlaw, especially, wasn't all that pleased. I had modeled his car perfectly, down to the plywood roof, except for the engine! Hence the name "Outcast" What a fun hobby !!!! Edited November 8, 2008 by Geezerman
RadRidesByDan Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Now thats bringing out the hobby's imagination to life. BWAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I love it
James Flowers Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Don't you just get sick of seeing Chevy engines, it seems like every old Hot Rod has one ? Nice too be different. I like it.
paul@detaildownunder Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Ha! I remember seeing this on TRaK with the engine hidden!!!! I wouldn't change a thing on this one Geezerman as that engine ROCKS!!

stevegt738 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 That is an inspired engine choice, cool way to get interesting comments. You would need ear plugs with that exhaust (or lack off) though .
