Finished this today, have been working on it for about 10 months, on and off.

Mark, thanks for the comments. When i first painted this, it had all the chrome trim, but i stuffed the paint job. After stripping and repaintng, i had got sick of foiling as i have done a lot lately. So i had the idea of a car that the owner could not get new trims for it, and had the old rubbish ones painted to match the black out panels on the body. Really i was being lazy and thought satin black would look better than silver paint B). There are pics of the foiled body in the link i posted.

Your ideas on the wheels are noted and filed away for another build, that is a sneaky tip you have for the offset, thanks.

Harry, GOTCHA . I got the idea for the engine swap from a post on another forum. A comment was made that original 6 cylinder Mustangs would become collectable one day, as the the 6 is nearly always replaced with a V8. So i could not help myself. If you have seen my Jaguar 6 powered `34 coupe, you will know that i like oddball stuff.

Here are some other different moters waitng to be used one day

Who knows when any of these will turn up, i don`t.

Yeah...I too was surprised to see a 6 under the hood, but the side-draft carbs sell the concept!!

I also like the concept of painting the trim black. That makes it look more sinister!
