Geezerman Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 This was (AMT?) Boyd's Hot Rod series. This was already chopped so I had to make it look like I did it! Prostreeted the rear clip, usual scratching and bashing. Engine from the 60 Starliner doner kit for another project. I thot this was an especially nice engine for a kit. This was an early build, before I accumulated a lot of junk. There's those FAT front tires again. But i'm leaving this one alone!
RadRidesByDan Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 That just looks outright MEAN....excellent job on the build....but I must say the fat fronts just dont seem to belong with the rest of the cars style and stance that you got perfect
Raul_Perez Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Evil, wicked, mean and nasty!! Just how it should be!!
Bernard Kron Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Sow's Ear now Silk Purse! You're right, that engine is nice, although I'll bet you had more than a little to do with how it looks in this build...

Part of the result of my first frustrating encounter with resin casters, the now infamous Best Resin.
Modellpularn Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Cool! I believe the kit is an old MPC Switchers repopped by AMT/ERTL. The top was a separate part, right?

Geezerman Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 Cool! I believe the kit is an old MPC Switchers repopped by AMT/ERTL. The top was a separate part, right? I couldn't remember and the only WIP foto I have doesn't show good enough, So, I went in and yanked it out of the case and it does appear, on close inspection, that the top was seperate.
