deward Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Finished this one a while ago as well, it is my most recent build. This is the Revell silverado with a few modifications. 4 link front and rear, exocage, and so on. tires are from so real. scratch built a new bed and fuel cell modified the kits front bumper. I somewhat wired the engine.
E St. Kruiser50 Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 WOW This belongs on the "Real or Model thread". Beautiful work I thought this was a real truck.
Raul_Perez Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Very nicely weathered!! You did a GREAT job applying the mud without making it look "placed". Thanks for sharing,
randx0 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 great work I wish we saw more of these!what did you use for the dif/axles?
deward Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 The rear axle is from the silverado kit and the front axle is from the parts box. I think its originally from a mad mudder kit.
RodneyBad Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 glad to see this one done. Watched the build a long while ago. Like you had a real one right in the garage. I think you wheeled it too hard for the mud effects. Ya broke the rear U-joint. Good enough to pass for Real. Awesome Job!!
