Subscription question?

My local hobby shop stopped carrying Model Cars probably a year ago. I finally got off my butt and subscribed after joining this forum. My question is how long does it take to get that first issue? I subcribed on August 24th. I know it hasn't even been a month yet but I'm anxious to get model cars again. Gonna have to buy all the back issues that I missed too. Later, Ray.
